This 20th century American photographer is an emininent part of photography history. He became one of the foremost champions of highly detailed photographic images, as opposed to the earlier popular style of soft-focused images.
Over the space of time of his 40-year career, he did an amazing variety of photos including landscapes, still lifes, nudes, portraits, genre scenes and even whimsical parodies.
He was a prolific photographer, and his work is awesome!
